Dominique Colonna Hotel - Corte (Corsica)

Excellent reception and staff service.

The pillows in our room were uncomfortable, ruining nights of sleep. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn't function properly and left us sweltering during the hot afternoons. Navigating the narrow road leading to the hotel proved to be quite difficult.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Modern, delightful room complete with surround views and balcony. The services are good, including a lovely pool. They offer wake up calls and ironing free of charge too. It boasts excellent, unbeatable location short walk to the impressive hiking trails along the river, the center of Corte in the Restonica Valley and the valley.

The room was well-equipped with surround views and they provided wake-up service when I asked. The free parking was on-site, good service.

The breakfast, though? Absolutely great with heaps of fresh choices!

There were extremely comfy beds and an electronic key card, a work desk, and a multi-channel television inside the room. Its gorgeous, riverside location was a plus...

The place was fairly clean, I booked the king room with views of mountain, everything was wonderful. I greatly enjoyed the room, the bed was extremely comfy. The staff were super friendly and exceptionally nice and the facilities provided were fantastic.

Amazing views of the Restonica Valley

The accommodations were beautifully designed. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, locally sourced options that were excellent.

Serene atmosphere complemented by the beautiful views of the rushing river from our Double Room River View. The staff was great. Breakfast was an absolute delight, with homemade quiches and a fantastic selection of local products.

No on-site dinner service.

Chillin' by the river in Corte 🌊

The view from our room was just bonkers, looking right over the river, and yo, that shower was legends-best I've experienced. The brekkie had all sorts of fresh goodies, made us happy, and the whole vibe felt so relaxed with the sound of the river.

The pool was a bit chilly for my taste. Didn't spend much time there.

Beautiful setting with zen vibes

The design combines natural materials which immerses you in a tranquil atmosphere, especially while lounging by the beautiful pool. The breakfast was a fantastic highlight with a rich selection of homemade options, made each morning good. It would have been nice to have evening dining options directly at the hotel.

My honest journey to loving (or hating) this

Staying by the river was enchanting-with soothing sounds of rushing water and a serene atmosphere that genuinely invited relaxation. The attentive staff, especially Presley and Ellianna, brightened our stay with their warm hospitality.

Access was tricky. The narrow road leading to the hotel posed challenges. The absence of on-site dining meant we relied on a nearby restaurant, which could complicate late evening plans.

Nestled along the tranquil river, the hotel boasts a stylish yet comfortable decor and offers really good massages for relaxation. The cordial staff genuinely enhance the overall experience. A really picturesque setting, but it would be great if there were dining options on-site for dinner.

The location of Dominique Colonna in Corte was marvellous and magnificent, very close to the old town. We tried some restaurants, including the Buffet at Bellagio which boasted a fresh cuisine. It was a superb experience.
